In the normal course of business we process several million envelopes per month for multiple customers. In keeping with our commitment to observing the highest possible standards of mail integrity, we utilise an Unique Tracking Number (UTN) for each individual mail piece. This unique tracking number is translated into a 2D barcode, which is printed on every page of each mail piece.
This Barcode tracks every page as it is:
• Printed • Cut • Accumulated • Folded • Inserted • Delivered •
This methodology permits Dafil to:
- Track all individual mail pieces from the arrival as data, throughout production phases in real time, and ultimately, delivery into the postal system.
- Provide reporting to prove integrity of production.
- Read and print on non window envelopes.
